Our Background:
In early 1997 our company founder, David A. Holmes, began web site development while serving in the US Armed Forces. Since then, he has brought his vision of customer driven web site designs into the mainstream Web Site Design company of today. In October, 1999, we went public, designing web pages for some nonprofit organizations along with multiple government sites. We started with only six workstations online including web site development. Our client responses were overwhelming. We had some well-established companies come forward requesting web sites to push their products into the Digital Age. These companies had very little or no web experience and, with that, they determined that outsourcing or consulting was their best alternative. Then came DavesWebdesigning. We had five large companies, which until then, never sought world wide exposure. Today we have many home and business clients that look to DavesWebdesigning for all their web solutions. In October 2004, we changed from Dave’s Web Design name to DavesWebdesigning, LLC. And began to offer a wider range of new services to include web hosting. Our Infrastructure:
The Planet network architecture utilizes the Enterprise routing and switching engines from Juniper and Cisco; Utilize Juniper M20 routers as border routers, Cisco 6500 series switches in our distribution layer, and Cisco 6500 switches in our aggregation layers, and Cisco 3500 and 2900 series switches at the customer layer. Our network is fully meshed and redundant with 11 backbone providers.
